Making Safeguarding Personal

We are delighted to announce that our partner Research in Practice for Adults will be hosting a one day seminar on Thursday 13th July starting at 9.30am, in The Petherton Suite at the Junction 24 Conference Centre.

This second workshop in the RCPA/Research in Practice for Adults seminar series looks at the evidence and practice with regard to Making Safeguarding Personal (MSP). MSP is a personalised approach to safeguarding which became statutory in the Care Act 2014. The workshop will look at the relationship between the requirements of the Care Act, Human Rights Approaches and the CQC regulatory framework. Delegates will have the opportunity to examine the evidence that supports the MSP approach, including an exploration of risk enablement approaches.
The workshop provides the opportunity to share practice with others, as well as to explore the ways in which the workforce can be supported to implement making safeguarding personal in their services.

The per person cost for RCPA Members is £110,
