As a Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) with over 12 years experience in both the retail and finance sectors I have extensive experience in setting up management accounting systems which allow senior management to make optimum strategic and tactical decisions. The idea behind this is that by alerting managers early to areas where performance deviates from expectations, they can be encouraged to focus their attention on these areas and as a result, trigger improved performance within that part of the organisation.
