Dare You Care in an Era of Change?

The 2009 RCPA Ltd Seminar took place on Wednesday, 4th November 2009, 9.00am - 3.15pm at Queen’s College, Trull Road, Taunton.

The overwhelmingly positive feedback we received from the attendees of the 2009 RCPA Annual Seminar has been extremely gratifying and encouraging. Despite the grey clouds the day proved to be a tremendous success with over 150 delegates in attendance. The calibre and knowledge of the speakers at the seminar was universally agreed to be extremely high and we would like to thank them again for giving up their time to present at the event. The feedback suggests that there was something on offer for everyone and we hope that all the delegates managed to derive inspiration and value from the varied and thought provoking sessions on offer.

This was our first year in a new venue at Queens College in Taunton and in many ways it appears to have been a vast improvement. It is always our aim to take our members’ views into consideration, your feedback regarding parking and space in the lunch area will prove extremely valuable in helping us to make plans regarding possible venues and logistical improvements for next year.

We would like to thank everyone who attended for helping to make the day such a success, as well as our sponsors Somerset County Council, Burroughs Day Solicitors, Acacia Training and Pharmacy Plus. Especial thanks are due to Jenny, Jill and the RCPA Committee for the mammoth organisational effort involved in bringing the Seminar about. Our goal is to improve each year and to continue to provide this extremely valuable opportunity for care providers in the South West to gather and share information regarding the vital sector in which we all work.
